Why I Started the All About Hymn Conference
Hi, I’m Gil Hamm Jr. For over 30 years I’ve lived, breathed, and produced music. From founding Isaiah Records in 1999, to producing for Drexel University Gospel Choir, to launching Play4Hymn, I’ve seen how powerful hymns change lives.
But I’ve also seen churches struggle: choirs unsure, musicians discouraged, worship feeling like routine. God placed a burden on my heart to create a space where musicians, pastors, and worshippers can be equipped — not just to sing hymns, but to use them to heal, uplift, and transform lives.
